EB Media at the 2025 Ugly Christmas Sweater Scramble
On December 5, EB Media got into the holiday spirit at the 2025 Ugly Christmas Sweater Scramble at Albatross Indoor Golf Centre in Ancaster.
Barrett and I joined Steve and Mike for an evening of indoor golf, ugly Christmas sweaters and some friendly competition — all while supporting a good cause during the holiday season.
As part of the event, we also donated toys to help give back to local families over the holidays.
It was our second year participating in the Ugly Christmas Sweater Scramble, and we're always happy to support events that bring local businesses and the community together.
Golf, Ugly Sweaters and Giving Back
The Ugly Christmas Sweater Scramble puts a holiday spin on a golf tournament, with teams trading their usual golf attire for some appropriately questionable Christmas sweaters.
Our EB Media foursome was happy to take part again in 2025.
Beyond the golf and ugly sweaters, the toy drive was an important part of the event. We were glad to contribute toys and help support the initiative during a time of year when giving back can make an especially meaningful difference for families.
Events don't always have to be formal galas or major fundraisers to make an impact. Sometimes getting people together, having some fun and asking everyone to contribute what they can is a great way to support the community.
Our Second Year Participating
After taking part in the Ugly Christmas Sweater Scramble the previous year, we were happy to return for another round in 2025.
At EB Media, we try to stay involved with the organizations, businesses and events happening throughout Hamilton, Ancaster and the surrounding communities.
That includes larger sponsorships and fundraising events, but it also means showing up for events like this one.
It's something we value as a local business and something we plan to continue doing.
Supporting Our Community Throughout the Year
Community involvement has become an important part of what we do at EB Media.
Throughout the year, we're fortunate to participate in and sponsor a variety of charitable tournaments, fundraisers and community events, many involving organizations we've built long-standing relationships with through our work.
Whether we're sponsoring a hole, playing in a charity golf tournament, donating toys or supporting one of our non-profit clients, we're always happy when we can use our position as a local business to contribute.
The Ugly Christmas Sweater Scramble was a fun way to wrap up another year of doing just that.

We had a great time getting the foursome together, breaking out the ugly Christmas sweaters and contributing toys for the holiday season.
