Supporting International Needs Canada at the 2026 Golf for Hope Tournament
On Saturday, August 1, EB Media had the opportunity to sponsor a hole and participate in the inaugural Golf for Hope Charity Tournament (opens in a new tab) in support of International Needs Canada.
Barrett and I joined the International Needs Canada team, supporters and fellow sponsors for a great day on the golf course while helping raise funds for the Real Hope Safe House & Drop-In Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
It was a great opportunity to support an important cause while getting to know more of the people behind an organization we're proud to work with.
Supporting International Needs Canada
International Needs Canada (opens in a new tab) works with local partners around the world to support children, families and communities facing poverty and injustice.
When we were invited to participate in the inaugural Golf for Hope tournament, we were happy to get involved.
EB Media sponsored a hole at the event, and Barrett and I had the chance to play in the tournament as well. It gave us an opportunity to spend time with the International Needs Canada team outside of our regular project meetings, connect with other supporters and learn even more about the work the organization is doing.
Supporting the Real Hope Safe House & Drop-In Centre
Funds raised through Golf for Hope supported the Real Hope Safe House & Drop-In Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
Supporting initiatives like this was what made the day about much more than golf. Bringing together sponsors, golfers and supporters provided another way for the International Needs Canada community to contribute to the organization's work and the people it serves.
We're proud that EB Media could play a small part in supporting the event.
A New Website for International Needs Canada
Our relationship with International Needs Canada goes beyond the golf tournament.
EB Media is currently working with their team on a brand-new website that will help tell their story, strengthen donor engagement and better showcase the impact of their programs around the world.
It's a significant project for our team and one we're excited to share when it launches.
Working closely with organizations like International Needs Canada also helps us better understand their mission, audience and goals. That understanding is especially valuable when designing and developing a website that needs to serve donors, supporters, partners and the organization itself.
Giving Back to the Organizations We Work With
At EB Media, we're fortunate to work with a number of non-profit and charitable organizations.
We believe those relationships can extend beyond the websites and digital projects we create.
Whether it's sponsoring an event, participating in a fundraiser or finding another way to contribute, we try to support the organizations we work with and the causes that matter to them.
