EB Media CMS
Built Around The Way
Your Business Works.
The EB Media CMS is our own content management platform, built and supported in-house. From simple content updates to APIs, integrations, automation and custom functionality, we can shape it around what your organization actually needs.
Why We Built It
Your Website Should Be Easy To Manage
We built the EB Media CMS because many of our clients did not need hundreds of settings, plugins and editing options. They needed a straightforward way to manage the parts of their website that actually change.
So we configure it around the content each organization works with, rather than fitting every project into the same structure. As our clients’ needs have grown, so has the platform — it now reaches well beyond content management.
Purpose-Built Editing
The admin experience is configured around the content your team actually needs to manage.
Built & Supported In-House
The same team that builds the website maintains and develops the platform behind it.
Flexible Custom Functionality
Custom content, workflows and functionality can be built specifically around the project.
Hosting, Training & Support
EB Media handles the managed hosting environment, platform maintenance and the training your team needs to manage the site.
Built Around Your Content
Manage What Matters Without Digging Through The Website
A manufacturer may need products, specifications and downloadable documents. A non-profit may manage programs, events and impact stories. Rather than treating everything as a generic page, we create structured sections around the information you actually work with.
- Pages
- News
- Events
- Staff
- Programs
- Projects
- Products
- Locations
- Resources
- Custom Content
If your website needs something more specialized, we can build that into the platform too.
Beyond Content
If it can save your team time,
we can probably build it.
The CMS began as a way to manage website content. Because we develop and maintain the platform in-house, it has grown into something that can also build custom tools, connect outside systems and automate repetitive work — whether that is something customers use on the website, or something behind the scenes that saves staff hours.
Have a specific problem you’re trying to solve? There is a good chance we can find a better way to handle it.
Start A Conversation→Integrations & APIs
Connect Your Website To The Tools You Already Use
A website does not have to operate as an isolated system. Using APIs and custom integrations, the CMS can exchange information with the other platforms an organization runs on.
- External data
- CRM connections
- Form integrations
- Data synchronization
- Payment systems
- APIs
- Imports and exports
- Industry-specific software
Every integration is different. We start by understanding what you are trying to accomplish and determine the best way to connect the systems involved. For work that goes further than a website, see custom web applications.
Custom Functionality & Automation
Built Around What You Need
Sometimes the biggest improvements to a website are not pages or design changes. They are automating repetitive work, moving data between systems, triggering notifications, updating content on its own, or building the tools, databases and portals an organization actually runs on.
- Customer Portals
- Member Portals
- Searchable Databases
- Interactive Maps
- Advanced Filtering
- Resource Libraries
- Custom Dashboards
- Application Systems
- Quote Tools
- Custom Forms
- APIs & Integrations
- Automated Workflows
- Send information to another system
- Notify the appropriate staff member
- Send confirmation automatically
- Website receives the latest data
- Content updates automatically
- CMS retrieves the latest information
- Website displays the new data
Less repetitive work. Less duplicate data entry. Fewer opportunities for human error.
You Don’t Need To Know The Technical Solution
You do not need to come to us asking for an API, webhook or custom database.
- What is taking too much time
- What your team is doing manually
- Where information needs to go
- What you wish the website could do
Tell us any of those and we can determine the simplest solution that accomplishes what you actually need.

If you move to another platform, your content and data can be exported in a usable format. If full platform portability is an important requirement, WordPress may be the better choice.

Great experience working with Erik and his team at EB Media. They were professional, easy to communicate with, and delivered a clean, high-quality website and content that exceeded my expectations.
They consistently went above and beyond what was expected. What stood out most was how much they cared about our mission — as a charity, it meant a great deal to work with a team that didn’t just provide a service but truly supported our organization.
FAQ
Common Questions
A proprietary content management system built and maintained by EB Media. It is configured around the content, functionality and integrations each website needs, rather than fitting every project into the same structure.
Yes, and you do not need technical experience to do it. We determine which areas your team needs to control, build those management tools into the CMS, and include personalized training before launch.
Often, yes. If the other platform provides an API, data feed or another way to exchange information, we can investigate connecting the systems. Every integration is different, so we start from what you are trying to accomplish.
Yes. The platform can support custom databases, portals, directories, dashboards, filtering and multi-step workflows, including automations that move data, trigger notifications or update content without anyone doing it by hand.
Both, depending on the project. The EB Media CMS is proprietary software we develop and host; WordPress is open source and fully portable. We recommend whichever makes more sense — see WordPress & CMS.
The CMS software itself cannot be transferred the way a WordPress installation can, and EB Media CMS websites are hosted in our managed environment. Your content and data remain yours and can be exported in a usable format. If portability is a major requirement, we will recommend WordPress from the beginning.
