On May 28, EB Media had the opportunity to participate in the Mark Preece Family House Golf4Life Tournament (opens in a new tab), joining businesses, community leaders, sponsors and volunteers for a great day in support of an important Hamilton organization.
Events like Golf4Life are a great reminder of how strong the Hamilton business community can be when people come together to support a meaningful cause.
For us, it was also an opportunity to support an organization we've had the pleasure of working closely with at EB Media.
Supporting Mark Preece Family House
Mark Preece Family House (opens in a new tab) provides a home away from home for families of patients receiving care at Hamilton-area hospitals.
For families going through a difficult time, having a welcoming place to stay close to their loved ones can make a meaningful difference.
Golf4Life brings together businesses and supporters from across the community to help support the House and the families who rely on it.
We had a great time participating in the tournament and connecting with fellow business owners, community leaders, sponsors and volunteers who came out to support the organization.
A New Website for Mark Preece Family House
Our relationship with Mark Preece Family House also extends beyond the golf course.
EB Media is currently working with their team on a brand-new website that will give the organization an updated digital presence and make it easier for families, donors, volunteers and supporters to find the information they need.
The new website will help tell the story of Mark Preece Family House, communicate the services and support available to families, promote events and provide clearer ways for members of the community to get involved.
It's a project we're proud to be working on and one we're looking forward to sharing when it launches.
Supporting Our Non-Profit Clients Beyond Their Websites
At EB Media, we're fortunate to work with a number of non-profit and charitable organizations in Hamilton and throughout Southern Ontario.
We believe those relationships can extend beyond the websites and digital projects we build.
Whether it's participating in a fundraiser, sponsoring an event or simply showing up to support an organization and the people behind it, we try to give back to the organizations we work with whenever we can.
